If you'd like to permanently delete your Everand account and all associated data, here's how.
Before you delete
- Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account doesn't automatically stop billing if you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel through those platforms before proceeding. See "How to cancel your Everand subscription."
- Your data will be permanently removed. This includes your reading history, saved books, unlocked books, and account settings. This can't be undone.
- If you also have a Scribd or Slideshare account with the same login, contact our virtual assistant to confirm how deletion affects your other accounts.
How to request deletion
Start a conversation with our virtual assistant and request account deletion. You'll be asked to verify your identity before the process begins.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How long does account deletion take?
A: The process may take a few business days. You'll receive confirmation once your account has been deleted.
Q: Can I reactivate my account after deleting it?
A: No. Deletion is permanent. If you want to use Everand again, you'll need to create a new account, and your previous reading history and unlocked books won't be recoverable.
Q: I just want to cancel my subscription, not delete my account. What should I do?
A: Canceling and deleting are different. Canceling stops your subscription but keeps your account and data intact. See "How to cancel your Everand subscription."
