As much as we wish you'd stay and keep reading with us, we completely understand that some of our members may choose to delete their account.
If you have an active subscription, you must first cancel your subscription and allow any remaining time to expire before you can delete your account.
Remember - one account to log in on Scribd, Everand, and Slideshare
If you wish to continue using your account to log into any of Scribd, Inc.’s three products, you’ll want to keep your account. Please also note that our support team may not be able to restore your reading history, document uploads or other information if you delete your account.

How to delete your account
On the Scribd or Everand websites
- Sign in to the Everand or Scribd website using the account you’d like to delete
- Click on the user icon in the upper right-hand corner
- Select "Your account" from the drop-down navigation menu
- Check to ensure your account does not have any active subscription time remaining; if your subscription is still active, you'll need to cancel your subscription and wait for any remaining subscription time to expire before proceeding.
- Scroll down to the “More options” section
- Click on "Delete account"
- Follow the onscreen prompts to complete your account deletion
On the Scribd or Everand apps
- Sign in to the account you want to delete using the Scribd or Everand mobile app
- Tap on “Account” in the bottom right-hand corner of your device’s screen
- Select “Account Information”
- Check to ensure your account does not have active subscription time remaining; if you are still subscribed, you'll need to cancel your subscription and wait for any remaining subscription time to expire before proceeding.
- Tap on the option to “Delete account”
- Follow the onscreen prompts to complete your account deletion
- An “Account deleted” banner will appear at the bottom of your device’s screen, confirming your account has been successfully deleted
On Slideshare
- Sign in to your account on the Slideshare website
- Click on your account icon in the top right of the page
- Select “Account Settings” from the drop-down menu
- Click on the “Account” tab
- Check to ensure your account does not have active subscription time remaining; if you are still subscribed, you'll need to cancel your subscription and wait for any remaining subscription time to expire before proceeding.
- Within the “Delete Account” section, select the option to “Delete Account”
- Confirm your account deletion by selecting “Yes, delete my account” from the pop-up that appears
