Your account keeps a record of every charge, and you can pull an invoice for your most recent payment yourself. For older invoices, our virtual assistant can help.

Getting an invoice

  1. Go to Your account on the Scribd website.
  2. Find the Payment information section.
  3. Select Get invoice next to Last payment.
  4. Select Print invoice, then print or save it.

Get invoice covers your last payment. For earlier billing periods, our virtual assistant can create one for you. Start a conversation and send:

  • Your name and the email address on your account
  • The billing periods you need
  • Any company name, address, or tax ID that has to appear on the invoice

Viewing your payment history

  1. Go to Your account on the Scribd website.
  2. Find the Payment information section.
  3. Select View history.

Each entry lists what you paid, when, and which billing period it covered. Refunds show up here too.

Charges appear as Scribd on your card statement, including for Slideshare subscriptions.

If a charge looks wrong or you don't recognize it, see Refunds.

Payment confirmation emails

Your subscription starts with one confirmation email, sent to the address on your account. That's the only payment email we send. Renewals don't produce one, so use your payment history or an invoice as your record.

Didn't get that first confirmation email?

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Search your inbox for “Scribd.com”.
  • Make sure the address on your account is right. A typo sends it somewhere else.
  • If you signed up using Apple's Hide My Email, check your forwarding settings.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Do I get a receipt email for every payment?

A: No. Only one confirmation email goes out when your subscription starts. There's no email to look for on later charges, so use your payment history or ask our virtual assistant for one.

Q: Can I get an invoice for an older payment?

A: Yes, our virtual assistant can put one together, just tell it which billing periods you need. Your account only generates invoices for your most recent payment.

Q: Can I get an invoice with my company details or tax number on it?

A: Yes. Tell our virtual assistant what has to appear on it, including a company name, address, or tax ID.

Q: Is tax included in my charge?

A: This depends on where you live. Where it applies, tax is calculated automatically and appears as its own line in your payment history.
