We’re introducing two new Everand subscription plans, Standard and Plus, to expand our catalog and make catalog availability more transparent than ever. What are the new subscription plans?
We have launched new subscription plans on Everand: Standard and Plus. As an existing Everand customer, you have the option to switch to either the Plus or Standard plan today. If you decide to switch, you will be able to access 150k+ newly added, bestseller titles. Both plans give you access to our premium catalog of 1.5M+ ebooks and audiobooks. Our Standard plan gives you 1 unlock per month and our Plus plan gives you 3 unlocks per month. Unlocks provide access to premium titles. Unlocked titles are yours to read or listen to as many times as you’d like as long as your subscription is active. Plus and Standard plans both also offer unlimited access to a select catalog of magazines, podcasts, sheet music, ebooks, and audiobooks, including Everand Originals.
These new plans will continue to provide the same complimentary access to Scribd and SlideShare.
How can I change to a new plan?
You can switch plans or cancel your subscription at any time in your account settings; your sign-in information will remain the same.
Our new plans are currently available only in the United States, but we’re working on expanding to other countries. While we don’t have an exact launch timeline for each region, we are planning to make them available in early 2025. We’ll keep everyone updated as we move forward. Stay tuned!
Can I switch back to my old plan after switching to a new plan?
No, once you switch to Standard or Plus you cannot switch back to your old plan.
If I choose to switch to a new plan, what does this mean for my saved content? Can I still access titles I’ve started to read?
Any premium titles that you have not started will be locked; titles you've only read a small portion of may also remain locked. However, all titles you've already read will be unlocked when you transition to a Plus or Standard plan. Your monthly unlocks won’t be impacted by us unlocking the titles you've already read when you transition to your new plan—you will still have unlocks (1 for Standard, 3 for Plus) to use to access titles of your choice.
What is available in the unlimited catalog?
The unlimited catalog includes a selection of 20k+ magazines, podcasts, sheet music, ebooks, and audiobooks, including Everand Originals.
What is available in the premium catalog?
The premium catalog includes 1.5M+ ebooks and audiobooks, including new and bestselling releases.
How many premium titles can I access per month?
If you are subscribed to Plus, you receive 3 unlocks per month to access titles from our premium catalog. Standard subscribers receive 1 unlock per month.

How do I access a premium title with unlocks, and do they expire?
Subscribers receive their new unlock(s) every month. Each unlock provides full access to an ebook or audiobook from our catalog of premium titles. Unlocked titles are yours to read or listen to as many times as you’d like as long as your subscription is active. Unlocks will expire if not used within 30 days they are received. If you decide to cancel, don’t worry—your unlocked titles will still be available to you if you resubscribe using the same email in the future. How many times can I read an unlocked title?

Why did you change your subscription offerings?
Our decision to change Everand’s plan offering was not made lightly. We’ve heard from our community about the need for more transparency and a broader selection of bestselling and new-release titles. While the previous model allowed extensive access, it often came with hidden limitations, like sudden content unavailability or access throttling, which we know caused frustration. While items may have appeared available in a saved list, users were not finding they were able to actually read their saved items. The new unlock system aims to provide more control and predictability, so you can select the books you want without those unexpected restrictions.
At Everand, we’re committed to offering competitive pricing while delivering great value. Subscriptions start at just $11.99 USD/month for access to 1 premium title or $16.99 USD for 3 premium titles per month on our Plus plan. We’re also excited to be expanding our catalog to include over 150K new titles from two of the largest publishers, so there’s even more to explore and enjoy. With access to both ebooks and audiobooks, our already expansive existing catalog, and now including many more bestsellers, we believe our brand provides even more value compared to other platforms.
Additionally, any titles you unlock remain accessible for the duration of your subscription, and if you ever need to pause, they’ll still be there if you decide to rejoin with the same email. This means you’ll never lose your favorite reads or listens if you return.
We recognize this is a significant shift and may feel like a step away from what made Everand special. We understand it can be disappointing to see something you’ve cherished transform, especially when Everand provided a unique experience that you enjoyed so much. We hope you’ll give our new offering a chance. However, you are not currently required to make any changes if you don’t want to. For the time being, if you do not transition to Standard or Plus, your existing plan will remain unchanged.
