We're so happy you've decided to publish on Scribd! At Scribd, it's your content - you get to decide what our readers can access.
When you post your content with us, you control:
- Whether users may copy and paste from your document
- If your title is available for direct download or not
These settings are managed on the "Document Uploads" section of your account.
Locating your uploads
First, you'll want to make sure that you're logged into the Scribd website with the account that was used to upload the documents you'd like to edit. Then, click on your profile icon in the upper right corner and select "Document Uploads" from the menu that appears.
Once you've made it to your Uploads page, you'll see document details and a menu of icons on the right of each document. Click the Edit icon to visit the editing page for that document.
Update reader permissions
Once on the editing page, select the 'Set Reader Permissions' tab to view and adjust the permissions options for your document.
If you wish to disable any options, uncheck the corresponding box and click "Save" to lock in your selections.
