Our bundle offer with The New York Times has ended, and we no longer offer access to this service as part of your Scribd subscription.

Why was the Scribd + NYT Bundle removed?

We have ended the bundle offer with The New York Times to focus on our core capabilities: giving you access to the best ebooks, audiobooks, documents, podcasts, magazine articles and sheet music, and more. We are always working to provide the most value possible with your subscription, and our partnerships with other services may change from time to time as Scribd grows. Please check out our current bundled offers on our Scribd Perks page, where we’ll also share any future subscription offers as they become available: https://www.scribd.com/account-settings/bundles

You can also get news on Scribd from a number of leading publications including Time, Newsweek, LA Times, and NPR.

What does the removal of the Scribd + NYT Bundle mean for my subscription?

While you will still have access to the best ebooks, audiobooks, documents, podcasts, magazine articles and sheet music, and more, you will no longer have access to The New York Times through Scribd. Your account will automatically transition to a standard Scribd subscription.

When will this change go into effect?

We are implementing this change on a rolling basis, dependent on your billing cycle and territory. Subscriptions will start transitioning on March 30.

How will this affect my cost?

Your account will automatically transition to a standard Scribd subscription, which will be reflected on your next bill.

I signed up specifically because of this promotion; what if I want to cancel my Scribd subscription?

Of course, we wish you’d stay and read with us! However, you can cancel your subscription at any time.

To cancel your Scribd subscription:

  • Log into your account on Scribd's website.
  • Navigate to your Account page by clicking on your username on the top right and selecting “Your Account” from the menu that appears.
  • In the Membership & Payment Details section of your Account Settings, click on "End My Membership"
  • Once you click on "End My Membership", you'll see a few pages of confirmations. Read and review before moving forward.
  • You’ll know that your account has been successfully canceled when you see the following message displayed, and we'll also send you a confirmation email to the email address registered to your Scribd account.
