Signing in on Scribd

With so many ways to access Scribd, you can now read wherever your heart desires! But first things first: you have to sign in to your account.

Signing in on the Scribd website

To sign in to your account on Scribd.com through a supported web browser, follow these instructions:

1. Click on the “Sign in” button located in the top right corner of the page and a pop-up window will appear
2. Select one of the following options depending on how you initially registered for your account:
• Continue with Google
• Continue with Facebook
• Sign in with email
3. Enter your username and password, or confirm your connected Google/Facebook account

If your Scribd account is not connected to your Facebook profile, using this option to sign in will create a brand new, separate Scribd account. If this happens to you, contact Scribd Support and we'll help fix it!

Signing in on the Scribd app

To sign in to your account on the Scribd mobile app, follow the instructions below:

1. Tap on “Account” in the lower right-hand corner of your device’s screen
2. Tap “Sign in” next to “Already have an account?” at the top of the screen
3. Select one of the following options depending on how you initially registered for your account:
• Sign in with Apple
• Sign in with Facebook
• Sign in with Google
• Sign in with email
4. Enter your corresponding username and password, if applicable

If your Scribd account is not connected to your Apple account or Facebook profile, using these options to sign in will create a brand new, separate Scribd account. If this happens to you, contact Scribd Support and we'll help fix it.

I sign in with Apple, but the option is missing

The option to Sign in with Apple is available for iOS devices running iOS 13 or newer. If you do not have this iOS installed, or are using a different device (Android, etc.) - don’t worry! You can still sign in to your Scribd account after completing these steps:

1. Confirm the email address linked to your Scribd account (If you use Apple’s Hide My Email feature, the email address linked to your Scribd account may be different than the one you use with Apple)
2. Reset your password with Scribd using the email address linked to your Scribd account

Once you’ve reset your Scribd account password, you can use this information to sign in with the “Sign in with email” option.
