Plan options and pricing
We offer two Educator Plans — one designed for students and one for educators — each with flexible billing to suit your schedule:
- Monthly billing — a great fit if you prefer flexibility or have an unpredictable calendar
- Annual billing — commit for a full year at a lower monthly rate
You can switch between monthly and annual billing at any time. For current pricing, visit the Student or Educator Plans page on the Scribd website.

Switching to an Educator Plan as an existing subscriber
Student and Educator Plans are available exclusively to new subscribers. Existing subscribers who want to switch over to an Educator Plan can still take advantage of Educator Plan pricing using the following steps:
- Cancel your current subscription first, and allow your remaining subscription time to expire
- Re-subscribe through our dedicated Student or Educator Plans page using your email address
Keep in mind that canceling will end your current plan once your remaining time expires, so you'll want to make sure you're ready to re-subscribe right away to avoid a gap in access.
