Overview
Once you link your Everand and Fable accounts, your new reading and listening activity on Everand will automatically update in Fable. This includes your reading streak, progress and percentage completed, finished books, and changes to your reading lists.
What activity syncs to Fable?
After linking your accounts, the following activity from Everand will update in Fable automatically:
- Updates to your reading streak
- Reading progress and percentage completed
- Updates to your reading lists:
- Reading a book on Everand adds it to your Currently Reading list in Fable
- Saving a book on Everand adds it to your Want to Read list
- Marking a book as finished on Everand adds it to your Finished list
Important things to know
- Only new activity is updated. Past reading history and existing lists are not carried over — only activity after your accounts are linked will update.
- Activity flows one way — from Everand to Fable. Changes you make in Fable won't update your Everand account. For example, removing a title from a list in Fable will not remove it from Everand.
- Updates may not be instant. It may take a short time for activity to appear in Fable after you've read or listened on Everand.
- Previews don’t count toward streaks. Previewing a title on Everand won’t update your reading streak in Fable.
- Some Everand actions don’t carry over. For example, removing a saved title in Everand won’t remove it from your lists in Fable.
- Syncing applies to your account as a whole, not to individual books.
How to get started
Activity syncing activates automatically once you link your Everand and Fable accounts. If you haven’t linked yet, here’s how:
- Open Everand and go to your Account tab.
- Tap the Fable banner in your account settings.
- Sign in to your existing Fable account, or create a free one.
- Once linked, your accounts are connected and activity syncing begins automatically.
Turning activity syncing on or off
You can turn activity syncing on or off at any time in your Everand account settings. When syncing is off, new activity from Everand will no longer appear in Fable. You can re-enable it whenever you’d like.
Who is eligible for activity syncing?
Activity syncing is available to active or paused Everand subscribers on a Standard, Plus, or Deluxe plan.
