Your free trial gives you access to everything Everand has to offer — the full catalog, offline access, all of it. How long you get depends on where you signed up:
- 30 days if you subscribed on the Everand website.
- 7 days if you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play.
What's included
During your trial, you get 1 unlock to use on any book in the catalog, regardless of which plan you selected. You also get:
- A selection of books available anytime without an unlock, including Everand Originals and podcasts.
- Download books for offline reading and listening.
- Full access on web, iOS, Android, Apple Watch, and CarPlay.
What happens at the end of your trial
Your trial renews automatically into a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. There's no obligation — cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be billed, and we’ll email you before your trial ends.

How to cancel before your trial ends
If you decide Everand isn't for you right now, no hard feelings. Just cancel before the trial runs out:
If you signed up on the web: Go to your account settings on the Everand website, find the Subscription section, and select "Cancel Subscription."
If you signed up through the App Store: Open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions > Everand (or Scribd) > Cancel Subscription.
If you signed up through Google Play: Open the Google Play app > Profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Everand (or Scribd) > Cancel subscription.
Good to know
If you cancel during your trial, access ends immediately. This is different from canceling a paid subscription, where you keep access until your next billing date. Once you cancel a trial, you won't be able to read or listen until you subscribe.
You might see a pending charge during your trial. Some payment methods show a temporary authorization or pending charge when you start your trial. This is a hold, not an actual charge — it's how we verify your payment method. It should disappear within a few business days. If you cancel before your trial ends, you won't be charged.
Pausing is not available during a free trial. The pause feature is available once your paid subscription is active.
One trial per account. Free trials are available to new and returning subscribers who haven't used one recently. If you've had a trial before, you may not be eligible for another one.

A: Yes, once you've used your free unlock, the unlock buttons will change to 'Get more unlocks'. Tapping this will let you end your trial early and start your subscription straight away — you'll be asked to confirm your plan and complete your first payment, and your new unlocks will be available immediately after checkout.
