Recently, scammers have contacted job seekers while posing as Scribd recruiters. This is a scam, and you should not engage with these people as they are in no way associated with Scribd, Inc.
If you want to confirm that someone who has identified themselves as a representative of Scribd, Inc. is authorized to contact you via social media or a job posting site, there are several ways to do so:
- After the initial contact, all Scribd, Inc. recruiters will contact you via their @Scribd.com email address to schedule potential interviews and discuss employment terms. If you have not been contacted through an official Scribd.com email address, please request it.
Please note: alternate domains such as "scribdcareers.com" or "scribdjobs.com" are not legitimate. Be sure to check the email ends in @Scribd.com only. - You can confirm that the job you’ve been contacted about is still active and accepting candidates by checking our website at Scribd.com/Careers.
- Scribd, Inc. representatives will never ask for Social Security numbers or banking information over email or the phone. We will use a secure system to process all sensitive information once an offer has been accepted.
