Recently, scammers have contacted job seekers while posing as Scribd recruiters. This is a scam, and you should not engage with these people as they are in no way associated with Scribd.

If you want to confirm that someone who has identified themselves as a Scribd representative is authorized to contact you via social media or a job posting site, there are several ways to do so:

  1. After the initial contact, all Scribd recruiters will contact you via their @Scribd.com email address to schedule potential interviews and discuss employment terms. If you have not been contacted through an official Scribd address, please request it.
  2. You can confirm that the job you’ve been contacted about is still active and accepting candidates by checking Scribd.com/Careers
  3. Scribd will never ask for Social Security numbers or banking information over email or the phone. We will use a secure system to process all sensitive information once an offer has been accepted.
