Searching
Already have a topic in mind? Head straight to the search bar at the top of the Slideshare site. Type it in, hit enter, and you’ll find decks that get you learning—and keep you moving.
How to search
Simply type a keyword, the name of the content you want to view surrounded by quotations, or a creator’s username into the search bar and click enter. Your search brings back a collection of presentations built to spark ideas and fuel progress.
There may be a delay in seeing your own Slideshare uploads within the site's search results. When files are uploaded to Slideshare publicly, it takes a few hours before they are indexed
Filtering your search results
Using the Slideshare website, you can filter your search results even further to get the best match for your query. Search filters are located at the top left corner of the search results page, and provide you with the ability to sort the content displayed by:
- File Type
- Date Uploaded
- Language
To apply a filter, click on the filter type and make your selection. You’ll then see the search results change to match your custom parameters.
Exploring
If you’re not searching for specifics and are instead interested in browsing Slideshare for your next idea, check out the suggested slides on the Slideshare homepage.
On the homepage, you can view the current slides driving learning and inspiration worldwide and filter them by category.
