You can assign a standard license to all of your SlideShare files or you can apply them individually as you upload the files.
Setting up a default license
To set up a default Creative Commons license for all content:
- Sign in to SlideShare.
- Move your cursor over your photo in the top right and select Account Settings.
- Click Content on the left rail.
- Select a default license for all your files. The available license options are:
- All Rights Reserved
- CC Attribution License
- CC Attribution-NoDerivs License
- CC Attribution-NonCommercial License
- CC Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs License
- CC Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike License
- CC Attribution-ShareAlike License
- Click Save.
Setting up an individual license
- Sign in to SlideShare.
- Move your cursor over your photo in the top right and select My Uploads.
- Click Edit below the presentation you'd like to change the license for.
- Select Edit details tab.
- At the bottom of the page, click Choose a license from the dropdown and select the appropriate license.
- Click Update.
Note: By default all content is set to All Rights Reserved unless you change it in your account.
