Managing duplicate iTunes or App Store subscriptions

If you have unintentionally set up multiple active subscriptions through iTunes or the App Store, you will simply need to cancel one of the subscriptions. Due to Apple's payment and security policies, Scribd is not permitted to cancel your subscription on your behalf, even when it’s a duplicate. However, we're happy to provide the steps you need to take to resolve this issue.

You can cancel a duplicate subscription from your iPhone, iPad, or computer. If you’re still interested in reading with Scribd, be sure to leave one subscription active so you continue to have access to our library!

To cancel on an iPhone or iPad:

  1. Access Settings on your device and select your name.
  2. Tap Subscriptions. (If you don't see "Subscriptions," tap "iTunes & App Store" instead. Then tap your Apple ID, tap View Apple ID, sign in, scroll down to select Subscriptions.)
  3. Select one of the subscriptions for Scribd.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription to confirm your cancellation.

To cancel on a Mac:

  1. Open the Apple App store.
  2. Select the Sign In option; if you’re already signed in, select your name from the sidebar menu.
  3. Choose to View Information.
  4. Scroll down to view your Subscriptions.
  5. Click Manage to the right of Subscriptions.
  6. Select the Edit option next to one of the Scribd subscriptions.
  7. Tap Cancel Subscription to confirm your cancellation.

To cancel on a PC:

  1. Open the iTunes app.
  2. From the menu bar select Account, then View My Account; you may be prompted to sign in.
  3. Select the option to View Account.
  4. Scroll down to view your Subscriptions.
  5. Click Manage to the right of Subscriptions.
  6. Select the Edit option next to one of the Scribd subscriptions.
  7. Tap Cancel Subscription to confirm your cancellation.
