Our Read Free offer has ended, but you may still be eligible for a free trial

We’re so glad that we’ve been able to give hundreds of thousands of people access to our library in the past month with our special Read Free offer. The COVID-19 pandemic has had profound effects on many people’s lives, but we’re hopeful we could offer some solace through the power of reading.

While this offer has ended, we’re continuing to offer our standard free trial for new users and eligible Scribd members who sign up for a subscription. (Generally, new users who haven’t previously received free credited time from Scribd are eligible to start a subscription with a free trial.)

The only difference is that our regular trial offer requires payment details up front, and unless you cancel before the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically renew and you will be billed for the next month. You can cancel at any time. If you choose to cancel a subscription, we’ll ensure your membership remains active for any remaining paid or trial membership time. If you cancel your subscription during the free trial, you will not be billed. Please see our Help Center article for more information about our subscription.

Scribd is passionate about changing the way the world reads. Our paid subscription model helps us maintain our commitment to fairly compensating authors, content creators, and publishers for their work, while allowing us to share an expansive library with our community.

If you have any questions, please check out our Help Center or just ask — our customer support team is always happy to help!
