November 16, 2022: We are aware of and investigating issues some iOS users are encountering with audio playback. If you are using an iOS device and experiencing audio playback issues, we recommend clearing the cache in your Scribd app.

To clear the cache:

  1. Tap on the "Account" icon on the bottom right 
  2. Then, select "Downloads" from the list of options
  3. Select "Clear cache"
  4. Once you've done this, you can exit that screen by tapping the back arrow at the upper left.
  5. To enable offline listening, you will need to download your titles again.
