As much as we wish you'd stay and keep reading with us, we completely understand that some of our members will at one point or another decide to leave Scribd altogether.
If you have an active subscription, you will not be able to delete your account without first canceling your subscription and allowing it to expire.
Deleting your account
On the Scribd website
- Sign in to the Scribd website using the account you’d like to delete
- Click on the user icon in the upper right-hand corner
- Select "Your account" from the drop-down navigation menu
- Scroll down to the “More options” section
- Click on "Delete account"
- Follow the onscreen prompts to complete your account deletion
On the Scribd app (iOS only)
- Sign in to the account you want to delete using the Scribd mobile app
- Tap on “Account” in the bottom right-hand corner of your device’s screen
- Select “Account Information”
- Tap on the option to “Delete account”
- Follow the onscreen prompts to complete your account deletion
- An “Account deleted” banner will appear at the bottom of your device’s screen, confirming your account has been successfully deleted
