Managing your saved list on Scribd

  • Updated

Your saved list helps you keep track of what you’re reading, what’s next, and everything you’ve finished. Organize your library with custom lists—collections of documents grouped by theme, research focus, or personal interest.

Adding a document to your saved list

Found something worth reading later? Save it with a single click.

From the Scribd homepage: Click the “Save for Later” ribbon icon at the bottom of any document.

From an open document:

  • Tap the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner and select “Save for Later.”
  • If the three-dot menu isn’t visible, click the “Save for Later” ribbon icon at the top of your screen.

Accessing your saved list

Your saved documents sync across devices—log into your Scribd account, and your saved list is there, whether you’re on the website or in the app.

On the Scribd website

Click “Saved” at the top of most pages or find it in the account drop-down menu. From here, access any custom lists by selecting “All Lists” in the upper-right corner.

On the Scribd app

Tap “Saved” in the bottom-right corner to view or manage your saved list. You’ll see:

  • Titles – Everything you’ve saved, including content from Everand (which requires switching apps to open).
  • Lists – Your custom collections.
  • Notebook – An archive of your bookmarks, notes, and highlights.
  • History – Your recently read documents.

Filtering your saved list

By default, your saved list appears in chronological order and includes all content types. Use filters to refine your list.

On the Scribd website

  1. Open your saved list.
  2. Click “Filter” in the top-left corner.
  3. Select a content type or toggle “Hide finished titles.”
  4. Click “Done.”

On the Scribd app

  1. Tap “Saved” in the bottom-right corner.
  2. Use the filter buttons at the top or tap the filter icon to access all options:
    • Downloaded – View only offline-accessible documents.
    • Formats – Filter by document type.
    • Hide finished – Display only unfinished documents.
  3. Tap “Apply” if needed.

Removing a document from your saved list

Finished reading or reorganizing your library? Remove documents from your saved list with a few taps.

On the Scribd website

  • From a document’s About page, click “Remove from Saved.”
  • In your saved list, select “Remove From Saved” from the three-dot menu next to the document.

  • While reading, tap the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and select “Remove from Saved.”
