Who's better at hand-picking books for you than you? You can browse Everand's library and create lists of books based on a certain theme or a specific purpose - all tailored to your personal tastes! You can even share these lists with everyone on Everand by making them publicly available, or set them as private to be enjoyed by only you.

Creating a list

If you don't have a list yet, create one! There are a few ways to go about it, but it's always an easy process. If you've saved a number of titles and you want to organize them into lists, you can do so directly from the “Saved” page.

On the website

To get there, select “Saved” from the menu, then select the "All Lists" option in the upper right corner of your saved titles. This will open a window with your existing lists and the option to create a new list.

When you click the “Create List” option, a pop-up box will appear where you can name your list and decide if you wish it to be publicly available or for your eyes only. Click “Create List” when you're done, and voilà — you have a list!

On the app

To create a list via the Everand app, tap on the bookmark/ribbon icon at the bottom of the navigation bar on the app. Once there, you'll see a tab for your lists at the top of your saved books page.

To create a new list, just click on the icon in the top left corner of the screen to “create a list”. A dialog box will pop up, prompting you to name your new list. From this screen, you can also choose to make your list private. Any list that you've made private will have a lock symbol next to the title when you view the page for that list.

Adding a title to a list

There are lots of ways to get your books organized. You can add a title that you're currently reading from its “About Book” page by selecting the "Add to List" option, located beneath the continue reading button, which will bring up a prompt where you can choose to add the book to an existing list or create a new list.

Another option is to add titles into a list directly from your saved titles. You can access your saved titles by selecting “Saved” in the menu in the top navigation bar on the website, or by tapping the bookmark icon on the bottom navigation bar on mobile.

Once you're viewing your saved titles, you'll see a three-dot icon to the right of each title that will open a menu of options for that book including "Add to List". From there, you can either add the book to an existing list or create a brand new one.

Managing titles on the app? Simply look for your “Add to List icon” which resembles a list with a plus sign — titles will be highlighted as you select them.

Removing books from a list

If you'd like to remove a book from a list, you can do so from the “List” page using the “Remove from List" icon, which resembles a list with an x, and is located below the option to read.

Editing a list

On the website

If you ever need to change the title, description, or privacy settings of a list, you can do that easily on the Everand website from your “Saved” page by clicking on “All Lists” in the upper right corner. This will open a window with all of your lists, where you can select the list you wish to edit. On this list page you can manage the contents of the list, and clicking the small pencil icon next to the list name will open your list settings.

On the app

If you use the Everand app, select Saved from the menu at the bottom, and then the “Lists” tab at the top of the screen. From there, tap on the List you wish to edit and press the menu icon in the top right corner to access and change the list settings.
