Share and quote your favorite titles

Sometimes, the best part of reading is sharing what you read with others. And it's easy to share what you've read or uploaded on Everand!

From the Everand app

Imagine you've just finished a great book and want to share it with your friends. It's easy to do directly from the Everand app on your mobile device!

Just open up the title, then:

1. Select the three vertical dots in the upper right corner to open the menu.
2. Go to 'Share'.
3. You’ll see your sharing options pop up! The sharing options available will be based on which apps you have installed on your device.

We also make it easy to share a title on Facebook, show it to all your X followers, or pin it to a board on Pinterest, all directly from the Everand website.

You’ll find sharing options, along with other features like “Save for Later,” available on the “About” page for each title, just below the book cover.

Alternatively, from within the reading view:

1. Select the three vertical dots in the upper right corner to show the options menu.
2. Under “Share this title,” tap on one of the “Share On” or “Share Via” options to choose your preferred sharing method.

You can always share a link to the title from the Everand website. Finding the URL is as easy as:

1. Selecting the content you want to share
2. Copying the web address in your browser's location bar at the top (highlighted below)
3. Pasting the link into: an email, a blog, Facebook, X, other websites, etc.

From the Everand app

You can also share your favorite quotes from books directly from the Everand mobile app.

1. Hold your finger down on the text you want to select until the cursor appears.
2. Make sure to highlight the whole quote you want to share.
   1. On iOS devices, select 'Share' to see your sharing options. 
   2. On Android devices, tap the three dots in the upper right corner, then select the ‘Share’ to see the sharing options.

Note: On either platform, your available sharing options will vary based on which apps are installed on your mobile device.

From the Everand website

Our website's “Share Quote” feature allows you to customize the look of your favorite shareable quotes from books on Everand!

To use this feature: 

1. Highlight the entire section you want to share and select "Share Quote" from the menu.
2. A box will appear where you can choose the background for your selected quote.
3. Select the background that strikes your fancy, then click "Next" on the bottom right-hand corner.

Lastly, select where you want to share the quote on either X, Facebook, or Pinterest or download the image you've created!
