There are a few different ways you can create an account with Scribd — we like to make it as easy as possible for everyone to enjoy what our libraries have to offer!
One account for SlideShare, Scribd and Everand
When you create an account with us, you can use that same account on all our apps and websites:
If you’re used to visiting Scribd, go ahead and log in on Everand or SlideShare with the same account! New visitors looking to create an account can read on for more information.
Getting started
To create a free account:
- On the Scribd or Everand websites, click "Sign In" located in the top right corner, or at the top of the “Account” tab in our mobile apps.
- Select the "Sign Up" link at the bottom of the pop-up window
SlideShare visitors should look for “Signup” in the top right.
From here, you can choose from a number of different methods to create your account.
Signing up through Email
- Select or tap "Sign up with Email”
- Fill in the Name, Email, and Password fields
- Check the box if you’d like to receive updates from us
- Select or tap on “Sign Up”
Signing up through Google
Linking your account to your Google login will allow you to sign in using Google on any device you choose to read on!
If you already have an account registered with the email address you use on Google, the “Sign up with Google” option will link your Google account to your existing account with us.
Once you've registered an account using your Google login, you'll be able to use the "Continue with Google" option to sign in on your device of choice!
When you use the "Sign up with Google" option, your Google account credentials are what you'll use to sign in to your account. If you'd like to set a password for your account so that you can also sign in directly to Scribd, Everand and SlideShare without using your Google account, you can do this on your account page.
Signing up through Facebook
When you use the "Sign up with Facebook" option, your Facebook account credentials are what you'll use to sign in to your account. If you'd like to set a password for your account so that you can also sign in directly to Scribd, Everand and SlideShare without using your Facebook account, you can do this on your account page
If you have an account with us that is not linked to your Facebook profile, and you sign in using Facebook, you’ll create a second, separate Scribd account. If this happens to you, contact our support team and we'll help get things sorted out for you!
Signing up through Apple
You can use your Apple ID to sign up for an account through our mobile apps on an iOS device!
When you use the “Sign up with Apple” option, your Apple ID credentials are what you’ll use to sign in to your account. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email feature, the email address associated with your account may not be the email address you use for your Apple ID. If you'd like to set a password for your account so that you can also sign in directly to Scribd, Everand and SlideShare without using your Apple account, you can do this on your account page
If you have an account with us that is not linked to your Apple ID, and you sign in using Apple, you’ll create a duplicate account. If this happens, let oursupport team know and we can help link your accounts!
