My reading progress isn't syncing

Everand syncs your reading and listening progress across devices automatically. If it's not working, here are a few things to check.

Make sure you're signed in to the same account

This sounds basic, but it's the most common cause. Verify that you're using the same email address on both devices. Go to the Account tab in the app to check.

Check your internet connection

Progress syncs when you're online. If you were reading offline, your progress should sync the next time you connect to the internet and open the app.

Force a sync

Close the Everand app completely (not just minimize it), then reopen it. This prompts the app to check for the latest progress data.

Update the app on both devices

If one device is running an older version, syncing can break. Make sure both devices are on the latest version of Everand.

Frequently asked questions

Q: I finished a book on my phone but my tablet still shows it as in progress. What do I do?

A: Close the app completely on both devices, make sure both are connected to the internet, then reopen the app on the tablet. The progress should update.

Q: Does offline reading sync when I go back online?

A: Yes. When you reconnect and open the app, your progress should sync automatically.
