Scribd allows sellers to choose how their work is delivered to readers. Depending on the seller's choice, you will have different options available to you once you purchase a document.
If the “Buy Now” box says, “Instant Access” you can read the document on Scribd.com in your web browser, or through any of our mobile applications. The document will not be available for downloading, printing, or any other offline access.
If the “Buy Now” box says, “Instant Download” you can read the document on the Scribd.com website, through our mobile applications, as well as download it as a PDF to read offline. The PDF may be printed or sent to another device. If the seller permits it, you may even be able to download the document in its original format (.doc or .xls, for example).
