Does Scribd take a percentage of sales as a consignment fee?

posted this on March 6, 2009, 11:27 AM

Yes - when someone purchases your document, Scribd will take 20% of the earnings as a consignment fee and then we also deduct a $0.25 transaction fee from your net revenue for every document purchased. So though Scribd does take a consignment fee you get 80% of everything you sell on Scribd minus the transactions fee to process the sale.

If you have further questions on the percentage of the sales you will earn by selling on Scribd, please contact Scribd support for assistance.
